The weather’s been a bit unpredictable lately, you should definitely visit when it’s sunny and dry.

I totally know what you mean, I am lucky that it’s much easier to find a good film developing shop in London, most people look at me funny when I give them 35mm or 125 film…

Hmmm that would be a day trip for me as I’m at least three hours further North. I will have to arrange a day out when the weather is nice.

I do shoot film when I can. Unfortunately getting film processed where I live is a traumatic experience as the only place to really go is Boots (and most of the time your film gets processed by a teenager who probably wouldn’t know a film camera if it hit them in the face)

The photos were taken in Knole Park, Kent, deers are easily spotted all around the park. It’s quite hard to get to without a car, but you can always take the train to Seven Oaks :) Do you shoot film as well?

The amazing thing is that there are volunteers (same age as the riot crowd) cleaning up this morning in downtown and actually they have done a very good job. Except for some litters and boarded up windows, downtown looks almost as though nothing happened.

I remembered that there was an art installation a couple of years ago that was having pianos all over London and people can just play on it randomly.

It’s a shame that Vancouver is not a big enough city that attracts artists.

The photo of the dog sleeping on the roof fills me with tears of joy and anger. I could never leave my dog and can’t believe people can do that. I feel the same as you, and am glad that they are at least well feed by tourists and locals… and that they live in a warmer climate where they don’t have to freeze sleeping outside at nighttime.

A beautiful shot. I love the stories you have shared. It really is meeting the locals that makes travel so enriching and satisfying. This is a lovely post. I used to spend hours in bookstore browsing through covers and skimming through a few pages of each book as well. It’s a nice feeling to be surrounded by all the wonders that each author is to bring.
